In What Your Birth Order Says About You, Amanda Pressner, make aware some personality traits about only children. Some things she states are how only children have to rely on their imagination to keep things interesting. Pressner says that only children are independent and comfortable talking to new people. It states in the article that only children are hardworking, goal oriented, and like doing things correct the first time. Pressner says that only children may become a professional athlete or government leader.
In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet is an only child. In the play when they are at the party Juliet is being very social to all the people there. While dancing at the party Juliet doesn’t seem to mind who she is ever dancing with. While the guy is singing and Romeo and Juliet are looking for each other Juliet walks through and around people and doesn’t seem to mind them showing she is independent and goal oriented because her goal is to find Romeo.
Being an only child in today’s world can be different for everybody. Some only children can relate to the personality traits stated by Pressner but others can only relate to some or be completely opposite. For example I know some people who on social media, which is a big part of today’s world, are very active and independent on social media. There are other people though that on social media get very introverted because in the world today it’s hard because of being judged and when you are an only child and didn’t grow up around a lot of people it can be hard to think you aren’t being judged but other only children can be very extroverted and feel very independent and comfortable on social media. Another example would be social gatherings. Some only children are very comfortable around other people and can talk to anyone they see but others may feel more withdrawn from the crowd. One thing I know about only children is that everyone I have met who is an only child including myself is very hardworking and always works hard to achieve any goals no matter what. In today’s world things can be hard but only children always work hard for their goals and anything they are doing. Only children are different and personalities aren’t the same but in today’s world it can be hard but everyone still knows how to work with themselves or people depending on what kind of person you are.

In Teen Sex a Health Issue Michelle Robinson says how having people need to be more aware of the problems that can occur if you have sex. She states how many diseases can happen if you have sex and the big impact they would have. Robinson shares examples of people who chose not to be careful and had bad consequences. She tells us how sexual education wasn’t huge but as time progressed it got bigger because of how important it is.
In the article Robinson states how “teenage girls were vulnerable to sexually transmitted infections” and in Romeo and Juliet it is very clear in the way she acts and looks that she is a teenager when her and Romeo fall in love and get married. After the get married they have to have their wedding night which means they are going to make it official but according to the quote above Juliet is more vulnerable but being the time period it is health factors are important about this type of thing it was just a ritual to happen after marriage so no one new the risk of this.
In today’s world teen sex is a very important thing to know about. Robinson states things in her article about STIs and HPVs and their importance and they are so important to know about today. In today’s world especially with teens sex is a big thing. People think if you have sex you are cool and they just enjoy it but no one takes time to learn about all the consequences of it. For example if you don’t know anything about your partner you can get a disease like STIs. Also pregnancy. Everyone always think that it won’t happen to them but everyone is always at risk. For example in the article Robinson shares a story about Rose who didn’t care and had unprotected sex and had both a pregnancy and infection scare. People don’t get that anything can happen to anyone no matter what the circumstances but without sex education people don’t know that. Robinson shares with us that learning about these things is very important and EVERYONE should know the dangers.
